By the third day of waking from a three week coma , the image of myself that I had held onto began to fade into obscurity, leaving behind a mere fragment of its former self. This remnant seemed distorted and fragmented, barely recognizable as the embodiment of who I thought I was. It appeared as though it was barely hanging on, held together by only a few frail threads that threatened to unravel at any moment. In the midst of this disintegration, a profound sense of darkness loomed, beckoning with an almost seductive allure, tempting me to embrace its enigmatic depths. The familiarity of my former identity waned, overshadowed by a creeping sense of allure from the unknown.
