Late summer family holidays in the 80s were spent in this stunning croft (north of Kinross in Scotland). I wanted to show the solid blackness of the sky at night and to do this, I have used Stuart Semple’s black paint, which absorbs 99% of natural light. The grey of the charcoal I used for the external walls and roof, proudly shows the history of this beautiful Croft.
