I live in Denmark, where there is nothing comparable to BAC.
I've been painting since 2003, after many years as a keen photographer. I like to paint outdoors as much as possible, where I paint mostly locally on 30x30 canvases. It's windy in Denmark, so I haven't tried larger canvases. Yet!
During the winter I also paint landscapes and semiabstract in my little atelier, either at home or at my summerhouse in Sødring, which is at the mouth of Randers fjord, where the river Guden flows into the sea.
In order to improve my skills, I have attended evening classes, weekend course etc. throughout the 20+ years. I intend to continue with these courses.
Recently I've been experimenting with monotype, and have just begun to draw portraits - but these will not be appearing here for a while yet.
