This Watercolour on Canvas shows my connection to India, Guyana, and the United Kingdom and how even though I am many miles away from India and Guyana my ancestors left their mark, and their traditions and culture although altered in ways gives me a strong connection to my Kin and Ancestors.
The black dots(Aboriginal Art) represent the journey taken not without great cause and the connection across the globe. It represents that most people have big connections across the globe which they cherish and try to uphold in tiny ways and big ways, these could be an ancient recipe or a song, or a tradition.
