Porthleven in South West Cornwall is a beautiful working fishing port with plenty of character. I loved this view of the town and harbour looking back from the end of the pier. using pencil really helped me to get to grips with all the textures that are in this picture. It is a view I'd like to revisit with colour at some point...
This drawing is framed in a plain black frame and has non-reflective glass to minimise distracting reflections.
