The Cober River flows alongside the town of Helston in Cornwall, then on through the stunning Penrose Estate. I loved painting the beautiful reflections cast in the almost mirror-like river and the way the sun was breaking through and lighting up parts of the footpath, with the countryside almost glowing in the background.
