Porthleven is a lively Cornish harbour, with plenty of hustle and bustle on a sunny spring day, but all this melts away when you walk amongst the sailing vessels at low tide. There is a quiet, sheltered stillness where the boats sit, protected by the thick, granite harbour walls, waiting for the water to flow back in. I wanted to capture that feeling of taking still moment when everything that surrounds is frenetic.
