I really enjoyed drawing this view of Cadgwith on The Lizard in Cornwall. I loved the way the background of the fishing boats, cliffs and sea are framed by the creel pots, with the light and shadows on the twisted ropes and fishing equipment creating abstract shapes. A similar view can be seen throughout Cornwall in the many fishing ports and is a scene which has remained unchanged for hundreds of years...
