I have been drawing ever since I can remember. Pencil, ink pens, paints, charcoal, the list goes on. Now that I have a wonderful studio of my own I have been able to work on larger canvases which I thoroughly enjoy. I love colour and some of the skies I see around me during the day and evening are stunning. I love the vibrant colour of nature and hope that I have captured it in some of my paintings!
Each of my commissions for dog portraits have been great fun to do. I really try to capture the character of the dog and the owners have all been delighted with the results. I had to paint a beautiful labrador in 2 weeks for a surprise 70th birthday. It was a push but I finished it just in time and she loved it.
